Another design inspired by the Mexican Day of the Dead where dead relatives are remembered with colourfully painted skulls. The festival is one of celebration reminding us not to fear death but simply acknowledge it as a transition to the next life. The raven is often a bird associated with the darker side of life as the bird is completely black. For me this piece is about not fearing death, and living a life free from that fear.
