This image was used at the end of last year at the Vodafone Music Awards. It was for the Legacy Award - note the guitar string marks on the fingers, and of course the Nick Von K silver rings and leather cuff.
VIVA LA BAM!!!!!
As fate would have it - I just met Bam Margera.
He was buying some of my jewels out at the airport on a 7 hour stopover, enroute to Aussie for the Big Day Out tour.
I got a random call from the shop manager saying "Bam wants to meet you, come out to the airport now!!'
And so I did.
We took a photo in the classicly scummy smokers area near the boarding gates.

NVK meets Indonesian TV host Farrah Quinn & friend
We opened the shop on Friday with a visit from these two lovely Indonesian ladies.
They are touring NZ making a travel film doco in partnership with Auckland airport, and stopped by my shop for a look at the jewelry.
Jessica (on the left giving the metal signs) asked me to sing her a song - so I sung a song about wishing they would both cook me dinner, as Farrah is a celebrity chef in Indonesia.
Hilarious :)

I bumped into Miss Leda Petit last night at Burgerfuel - hence the neon glow on her hands...

Custom amber Queen Bee ring for Burlesque queen Leda Petit
The beautiful Leda Petit wearing the Queen Bee ring that we designed together from a piece of amber given to her by a friend.
It's hard to see the detail from this photo but the base is all carved into a honeycomb pattern with little worker bees all over it, and the wings are skeletal so that the amber glows through.
I'm off to Bali in a week so anyone wanting a commission piece should email me now!
